2nd Annual Family, Food, Fitness Festival (FFFF) was held on Saturday, March 15, 2008
TEAM RD participates in the Walk from Obesity - September 29, 2007
NDVDA Registered Dietitians participated in the Walk from Obesity on September 29th at Fair Oaks Mall in order to
raise money and awareness for the fight against obesity. The Walk from Obesity was sponsored by the
INOVA Fair Oaks
Hospital and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. A Kids Fun and Fit walk as also held.
Vendors, parents, healthcare professionals, and the community participated in walking laps around the mall.
NDVDA members walked as part of TEAM RD, which raised $220. For more information about TEAM RD events, contact Monica Dickerson at mamburn@cox.net.
